In this week’s episode of All of the Arts, the crew travels to downtown Waterloo to talk to a local folk band, the Painting Pelicans. We get more insight into how the band came together and learn about how AI has had an impact on them. 

In Episode 3 of Face Off, host Ethan Horst challenges Conestoga College women’s basketball player Adri Kellerman to a one-on-one game of P.I.G. The segment captures the fun and competitive spirit of the court as the two test their shooting skills and creativity in a classic basketball challenge. Adri’s coach touches on how important academics are in order to stay in the game. Tune in to see who takes the win in this exciting mix of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 

This week on Hustling Students, we meet a Television & Independent Production student who runs his own video production company, Peaceful Films. Producing videos for real estate agents is a growing sector of his business and we also hear from a real estate agent who explains why video is becoming increasingly important in her field.  

In this episode of Secret Sauce of Startups, our team visits Hella Maid in  Kitchener-Waterloo, a tech-enabled cleaning company transforming the home services industry. We interview founders Abdul Rahman El Sayed and Ahmed, along with the HR and operations managers, to explore how they combine innovation, technology, and care to empower cleaners and delight homeowners. 

In There’s a Program for That? , we take you to the Woodworking Centre on Conestoga’s Doon campus to meet a program coordinator and student in one of the Woodworking programs.  

In this episode of On the Map, host Shubham Hinga visits Rural Roots Brewing Company in Elmira, Ontario, a craft brewery built on community and connection. He chats with owner Roger Lichti about his passion for local brewing and joins line-dance instructor Morgan Fleet as she brings energy and fun to the brewery. 

In this episode of Local Matters, host Rachel Ubani visits Vincenzo’s, a beloved family-run Italian grocery store in South Waterloo that has been serving the community since 1967. The episode explores how Vincenzo balances tradition and innovation while competing with big-box chains, offering unique products and personal connections you won’t find 

anywhere else. Through stories from the owners and staff, viewers discover why supporting local businesses like Vincenzo’s truly matters. 

In this episode of the scripted comedy series, Rental Madness, Henry signs up for a speed-running competition thinking that it’s a footrace and not a video game tournament. He secures his rent money at the ultimate cost. Those with high attention spans will be rewarded with a special guest appearance at the end!
